Erection of the main cross at St.Thomas Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church at Annanagar, Chennai

St.Thomas JSO Church, Annanagar is proud to announce that the new church building construction is going on and the first of June,2012 was a memorable day for us. A memorable event took place on this day. Erection of the main cross on the top of the church building was solemnized after the holy Quorbana on this day. A large number of faithful witnessed the solemn ceremony . It was a new experience to the members of the church especially, the younger generation who didn’t have the opportunity to witness such a rare function. Rev. Fr. Aby Alias, Puthenveetil, Vicar offered the Holy Qurbana assisted by Rev. Fr. Siby Paul, Kayanadu , Rev. Fr. Johnson Koshy and Dn. Jalil. The event was blessed by Very. Rev. K J John, Corepiscopa and Rev.Fr. Aby Paul with their presence.We hope to complete the new church building by end of this year. Allare requested to pray for its speedy completion.
